iACADEMY Shares Blue Roses to Honor Artists on Valentine’s Day

In celebration of Valentine’s Day and National Arts Month, iACADEMY launched a heartfelt initiative that honored artists and art enthusiasts across Metro Manila. From February 13 to 14, 2026, iACADEMY officers distributed blue roses accompanied by a meaningful question card: “As an artist, who are you most thankful for?”
The blue rose symbolized appreciation and homage to individuals who continue to create, inspire, and advocate for the arts. iACADEMY officers, artists themselves, personally handed the flowers to fellow creatives and art enthusiasts in key cultural areas such as Taft Avenue, Escolta, Intramuros, and Bonifacio Global City.
The initiative cleverly merged two celebrations: Valentine’s Day and Arts Month, highlighting “HeARTS Day” as a tribute to both love and creativity. Recipients were invited to take part in a mini social media challenge by sharing their reflections online and tagging the individuals who shaped their artistic journey. In doing so, the campaign extended gratitude beyond the moment, encouraging a ripple effect of appreciation within the creative community.
True to its mission of championing artists, iACADEMY also supports its own student artist, Dominique Joses Rivera, a 3rd Year AB Psychology student who crafted the blue roses, reinforcing its commitment to elevating local talent.
Through a simple gesture, the institution reminded artists that they are valued and seen. In a fast-paced and often overwhelming world, the campaign became a quiet yet powerful statement: art matters, artists matter, and their stories deserve to be celebrated, today and beyond.
