iACADEMY Students Build Concierge to Guide New Students

September 22, 2025

Navigating a new campus can be overwhelming, but at iACADEMY, even this challenge is being solved with innovation.
BSCS – Software Engineering students Leviathan Layek K. Co, Horich Klyne C. Rodinas, and Charles Francis Sotalbo, have developed Benzie-kun, a concierge system created for their CSELEC10 course.
Through voice recognition technology, Benzie-kun provides answers to frequently asked questions from new students and gives directions to various campus facilities, offering an accessible and efficient way to get information.
What sets this project apart is its direct impact on student life: instead of feeling lost on their first day, new iACADEMY students can rely on a tool built by their peers to make their transition smoother.
This initiative showcases how future software engineers are not only learning concepts but also applying them to create practical solutions that foster a more connected and student-friendly community. Learn more about iACADEMY: www.iacademy.edu.ph
